US Department of State Sponsored Diplomacy Lab
My fall sophomore semester I conducted research through the Diplomacy Lab with a team of four other students. Our project was on the influence of Chinese and Russian media on Sub-Saharan Africa. This was a semester long research project, which we presented to the Department of State at the end. We utilized primary and secondary sources to conduct our research and compiled many sources and examples on how the media is expanding throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. This experience increased my analytical skills as well as my awareness on media and its importance across the globe.
